Day & Train
Our Day and Train program is designed to maximize efficiency for owner and dog. It minimizes the time spent traveling, while maximizing the training time. Our experienced trainers use positive reinforcement to teach essential commands and improve behavior at planned intervals while giving the dog sufficient downtime in between sessions allowing it to get the most out of the time.-

6 Week Program
A certified Dog Trainer will lay the foundation during the sessions in our facility, then set owners up for success with detailed report cards and homework assignments to be continued in the home. Private lessons and go-home lessons serve as a hand-in-hand coaching opportunity for owners to learn alongside our Certified Dog Trainer.-

Personalized Training Consultation at Dogtown $65
We recommend that you have a private training consultation with one of our trainers prior to using any of our training services. This way they can meet you and your dog and suggest the best options that will meet your training needs. If you purchase of our training packages, your consultation fee will be waived.

Training Programs
What to Expect During Puppy Bootcamp
- Introduction to your puppy’s customized training plan, tailored to their age and needs.
- Command sequence training to establish the foundation for obedience.
- Potty training before and after every session to build consistency and good habits.
- 15 quality training sessions per day for focused learning and repetition.
- Relationship building with their trainer to foster trust and responsiveness.
- Daily report cards and video updates, with at-home practice assignments for you.
- Early focus on the first two stages of development:
- Acquisition – learning new skills
- Automatic – practicing until the response is consistent
- A go-home lesson at pickup to review progress and demonstrate skills.
Private Follow-Up Lesson
After training, you’ll receive a 1-hour private lesson (scheduled one week after pickup) to reinforce progress, answer questions, and keep your puppy on track at home.
Recommended Add-On: Daycare for Socialization
We highly recommend adding at least 3 daycare sessions after Bootcamp. Socialization at this stage is one of the biggest factors in building confidence, preventing behavior issues, and ensuring long-term success.
What to Expect in Week 1
- Introduction to your dog’s customized training plan, created specifically for their needs.
- Command sequence training begins, with focus on 1–2 foundational commands.
- 15 quality training sessions per day to ensure consistent learning.
- Relationship building with their trainer, including charging the marker.
- Daily report cards and video updates, with homework for you to reinforce skills at home.
- Focus on the 4 stages of learning: Acquisition, Automatic, Generalization, and Maintenance—so your dog learns to listen in any environment.
- A go-home lesson at the end of the week to set you up for success.
What to Expect in Week 2
- Progression of the command sequence, adding new skills and refining old ones.
- Continued routine building to make training transferable to home life.
- 15 training sessions per day to reinforce consistency.
- Detailed daily report cards with video demonstrations, so you can see progress and practice along.
- Advancement through your dog’s customized plan, layering in new commands each day.
- A final go-home lesson at pickup to review your dog’s progress and next steps.
Private Follow-Up Lessons
After training is complete, you’ll receive:
Two 1-hour private lessons with your trainer (scheduled one and two weeks after pickup).
These sessions help reinforce skills, answer questions, and keep your dog on track at home.
Recommended Add-On: Daycare for Socialization
We strongly recommend adding 3–5 daycare sessions after bootcamp. Proper socialization is a key factor in your dog’s long-term success and helps reinforce everything they’ve learned.
What to expect with the 5-night sleepover:
- Continual practice on command sequence w/commands they know 100% of the time.
- Working said commands on a long lead to establish the Generalization stage.
- Conditioning the e-collar (for emergencies only!)
- Daily report card videos updating the owners on what their dog is learning in detail, this makes our training transferable to home life.
- Visuals on what your dog is learning in detail.
What to expect for the 2 private lessons: After your dog has completed the 5-night stay at Dogtown, we expect the owners to take charge with their dogs training. We are establishing a routine that is easily attainable with the home life. The 1 on 1 private lessons are customized to your lifestyle, along with the personality of your dog. Here are a few examples of what it will look like:
- Working your dog outside on a long lead while a Certified Trainer coaches you through the session
- Taking a trip to a high traffic area and practicing commands while a Certified Trainer coaches you through the session
- Customizing an at home plan for you and your dog to be successful
We highly recommend adding 3-5 daycare sessions with this package as being in a high distraction area can be a good test for your dog.
